Latah Creek Wine Cellars 

Latah Creek Wine Cellars flowered in the hands of a father-daughter team. The Conways set their flag down in the 1980s and have been producing ever since. Their wines complement the powerful flavors of delicious food, which they post a series of recipes on. 

Mike Conway expanded his grape selection when the majority of wineries were sourced from Wahluke Slope. This has given Latah Creek a hand up in variety. 

Maryhill Winery 

This winery is named after the Maryhill farming community whose roots are set deep in the Columbia River Gorge at Kendall Yards. Maryhill winery hosts 75,000 guests every year. Its expansive size and multiple locations make it a popular spot for visitors and locals alike. 

Maryhill’s wine club offers a more in-depth experience of their decades-old expertise. They have won at least 3,000 awards in the last 20 years. They pride themselves on curating “approachable” wines that represent the epitome of Washington wine. 

Renegade by MonteScarlatto 

The balanced berry flavors of Red Mountain match perfectly with the specially crafted cuisine at Renegade. This tasting room offers a unique, chic environment for Spokane visitors. In addition to wine, the room offers local beer on tap so that you can get a deeper taste of Washington. Enjoy live music events at the Renegade room while you try their newest wines. 

For an outdoor experience, you can play a few rounds of golf by the 10th hole tasting room. 

Barrister Winery 

A couple of lawyers put their heads together and brought to life Barrister “Lawyer” Winery. Its original winery is set in a Spokane historic building. Downtown Spokane hosts Barrister’s second tasting room, surrounded by a multitude of things to do.

Barrister winery hosts an art gallery where guests can enjoy the work of local artists. This includes northwest musicians. 

You can take home the Barrister’s one-of-a-kind experience by stocking up on their affordable wines. Their drinks are known for silky, fruit flavors that are all produced on-site at the winery. 

Arbor Crest Wine Cellars 

This winery looks like a royalty’s residence. Arbor Crest Wine Cellars overlook a deep cliff enveloped by Spokane Valley’s luscious greenery. The estate even has a pool to complement its luxurious feel. 

Wine tasting and tours come with a guide who will tell all about the historical significance of the cellars’ surrounding beauty. The winery also offers yoga classes, concerts, and hosts events like weddings. 

Helix Wines 

This winery began as a family-owned farm. The farm shifted from growing wheat to wine and named the enterprise Helix Wines. Helix uses grapes from all over Washington state instead of confining its tastes to just a few vineyards. 

Helix Wines has access to 11 million acres of vineyards. Additionally, they certify their vineyards as salmon safe, which means that the winery helps restore wild salmon habitat. 

Helix has tasting rooms in Walla Walla and Spokane. They also offer mail delivery for their wines. 

Robert Karl Cellars

Robert Karl Cellars’ winemaking is led by a physician. He’s carried on Robert Karl after it sprouted in 1999. Using Horse Heaven Hills grapes, this winery makes beautiful classics with Washington flavor. 

The Robert Karl Health Club/Wine Club offers shipments of wines hand-selected by Dr. Joe Gunselman. Bulk orders are welcome as well. 

Townshend Cellar 

Scenery and comfort come together at Green Bluff’s Townshend Cellar. Townshend uses Columbia Valley grapes to create red, sparkling, white, and dessert wines. This family-owned operation opens up its production site for guided tours. 

The cellar also partners up with 1% For The Planet as a part of their sustainability efforts. They make conscientious efforts to mitigate carbon emissions through mindful production practices. 2% of their annual revenue goes to charity. 

Cougar Crest Estate Winery 

Cougar Crest’s wines started out small in a Walla Walla airport building. Few years after initial production, the winery was recognized in the list of 100 Wines of the World for their 2002 Syrah. Walla Walla’s apple orchards were replaced by vines, and Cougar Crest has carefully cultivated their grapes. 

Spokane’s tasting room is right across from Riverfront Park. Their most recent award was for their 2018 Walla Walla Valley Estate Grown Viognier.
